I figured out what curve I wanted using Dragon Center, but it wouldn't save it for me. I'm not sure if it had to do with unplugging one of the fans from the fan controller or selecting "Software Control Mode" for either CPU or Fan in Dragon Center, but I was all of a sudden able to edit my CPU fan curve. Update: I was also unhappy with my case fan speeds, they would only run at a constant rpm, so I was playing around with some things in Dragon Center and moving the headers around between fan headers on my motherboard and using the fan controller that came with my Fractal Design Define R6 case. I'm running a B450 Carbon Gaming AC motherboard and a Rywith a Wraith Prism cooler. I have smart fan selected in the motherboard bios and I also tried adjusting the fan speeds in bios, but nothing changed there either with the new numbers I put in.ĭoes anyone know how to adjust my CPU fan speeds? My fan is running at approximately 1550 rpm when my system is at idle and it sounds too loud.
